An eating spoon carved with axe and knife from mulberry wood measuring aprox. 17cm in length. Finished with walnut oil and beeswax.
Mulberry is a favourite wood of mine to carve, both for the grain and for the density, and is not something I come across often. This elegant eater was carved from one of a few pieces gifted to me from a fellow carver.

Care for your woodeware:
Do not put in the dishwasher! Wash with warm soapy water, avoid soaking and dry soon after.
Once or twice a year you can oil with walnut, linseed, foodsafe mineral oil or something similar.
With regular use the woodenware will form a patina. This adds to both the strength and character of the utensil.
