Eating spoon carved with axe and knife from a bent cherry branch, featuring chip carved handle and measuring approx. 13.5cm in length. Finished with walnut oil and beeswax.
This pice of cherry was collected in Italy where a tree was felled on a local farm. The deep colour pf the heartwood is gorgeous, seen contrasted with some sapwood on the bowl and a smaller bit on the handle. The handle reminds me of the sun I experienced on this trip.

Care for your woodeware:
Do not put in the dishwasher! Wash with warm soapy water, avoid soaking and dry soon after.
Once or twice a year you can oil with walnut, linseed, foodsafe mineral oil or something similar.
With regular use the woodenware will form a patina. This adds to both the strength and character of the utensil.
